According to Neverman, “I’ve loved reading fiction and fantasy, starting as early as eight years old. I read Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings, and I fell in love with James Bond when I was fourteen and remain a die-hard Ian Fleming fan. I authored my books because I needed to keep busy but still be present while caring for my grandmother. I always wanted to write and looking back at projects from when I was in grade school, which is still up in my memory box as motivation. Grandma always wanted to write and was my never-ending fountain of encouragement.”

Natalie Neverman was born in Carson City, Nevada, on August 1, 1989. Her father, a contractor, loves the outdoors and instilled in her a great appreciation for the West Coast’s wilderness. Her appreciation for reading blossomed in an old family cabin in the woods of California she visited every summer with her mother and younger sister.
