Fundmetric experts among the list of speakers in Nonprofit A.I. Forum 2021

Fundmetric experts are among the industry leaders who will lead the Nonprofit A.I. Forum 2021, a virtual event that brings together researchers, nonprofits, and the public sector to showcase how artificial intelligence (A.I.) can benefit the nonprofit sector that is historically underserved.

“An Acadia University conference presented by Fundmetric, the event bridges the academe and the public and private sectors to tackle how one of the world’s most powerful technologies could assist those that are most vulnerable,” a representative of the company said.

Industry leaders, policymakers, trailblazing researchers, and students compose the lineup of speakers for the event.

Fundmetric executives, led by its Chief Executive Officer Mark Hobbs, will engage participants on ways to turn one-time donors into lifetime supporters.

The list of Fundmetric’s experts who will sit on the table also includes the company’s Vice President for Operations and Strategy Rachel Crosbie, lead data scientist Dr. Greg Lee, and fundraising experts Mariya Yurukova, Tanya Rumble, and Meenakshi Das.

Tanya herself has raised millions for some of Canada’s largest charities, including Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Canadian Cancer Society. Meenakshi, on the other hand, specializes in designing survey-based research tools and analyzing engagement.

Canadian Senators Colin Deacon and Ratna Omidvar will drive discussions on knowledge mobilization and data-driven decision-making.

Other A.I. experts from Google and academic professionals from esteemed universities, including the Oregon State University, IU Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, and Texas Tech University, will join the discussions.

“Aimed at bringing A.I. experts and fundraisers together for collaboration, the event assures sessions are transcended by an emphasis on diversity and inclusion and how this is a tenant of anti-bias both for machine learning and beyond,” the representative said.

The event will gather leaders in planned giving, major gifts, donor retention, donor experience, and A.I. adoption experts.

How nonprofits’ fundraising will change over the next decade and what to do to ensure their organizations thrive will take center stage in the event.

Participants are expected to learn about the latest in digital transformation and where the opportunities for A.I. exist for the nonprofit sector, and why efforts in A.I. development and implementation need to include diverse groups.

They would also hear from academics and nonprofit industry leaders alike as they present their latest papers, projects, and practical experience.

Fundmetric said it enables fundraising, data, and leadership teams to create prediction models and launch campaigns within the same platform.

It said that its ML-powered predictions help teams identify the relationships and interests across their entire donor base that they didn’t know about.

“Fundmetric is all about spotting valuable patterns hidden within your data. Our A.I. is constantly learning, presenting observations, and generating recommendations to help teams make smarter, better-informed decisions that continuously improve over time,” the representative said.

Members of the media may join the conference. A speaker liaison will provide e-mail and support throughout the event.
