Experience a Rollercoaster of Emotions with Powerful Blues Music: Frequency Rising Unveils Inspiring New Album
With the release of their moving new album, Frequency Rising is psyched and ready to soar to new heights, establishing their position as the new face of Blues music

A rising new force in the genre of Blues Music, Frequency Rising is all set to take the music industry by storm. With a breakthrough album titled, “In the Sun”, the growing band is solidifying their position as a stunning icon in the genre of Blues Music. Enthusiastic to share their beliefs and values with their listeners, Frequency Rising is a true powerhouse of finesse and musical talents.

Released on July 1st, 2021, Frequency Rising’s debut album is an original emotional rollercoaster inspired by singer-songwriter Bret Berka’s music. “In the Sun” is the band’s outstanding example of how powerful the Blues are as an agent of healing. Through their music, Frequency Rising attempts to offer their listeners a release from the pain and suffering of the world and beautifully speak of truth, freedom and salvation from pain.

From the primitive guttural “Down so Deep”, to the cosmic trip “Metamorphosis”, the album keeps you engaged for the whole ride, and covers an impressive range of musical territory in the process.  Shortly after the first recording session, Berka’s home was raided by police and he was arrested and imprisoned for possession of marijuana.  The experience brought the screaming rocker “Armageddon” into life.  Another source of inspiration was the loss of Oikari’s mother to Covid, perhaps listeners can best hear this in his heart-wrenching solo on “It’s so Easy.”

Being recorded by Rich Mattson at Sparta Sound over a period of two and a half years, each session featured a different rhythm section, adding depth and variety to the foundation of acoustic blues. With Mattson on drums, bass and harmony vocals and Ali Oikari’s impressive arrangement, “In the Sun” is a stellar collaboration of musical talents.
