New, free CRM celebrates 10,000th Google user

Small enterprises and NPOs can now save money on software. Friday CRM, a business contact management program designed for small businesses, has been well received by Google users. Its unique combination of affordability and functionality has become a help to many.

“We fell in love with Friday CRM because it was free and because it had all the features we needed. There are a lot of complicated products out there right now, and finding a Contact Management Tool that my team and I could understand came as a savior during some tough times,” tweeted Terry Donaldson, an entrepreneur from Illinois.

A CRM is a kind of software in which entrepreneurs see a list of their customers, record and track business transactions, and thereby improve the quality of service to ordinary customers and corporate clients.

The prospects for CRMs and demand for software products like these in the U.S. are attested to by Fortune experts. They estimate that average annual demand growth will be 12.1% through 2028. Among the big players in the market—paid products with giant investments like SalesForce or Netsuite—large corporate clients have seen much growth and success. However, for small start-up businesses, these rather expensive products are out of reach.

2018 saw the introduction of Friday CRM’s beta. A year later, the CRM had a stable version focused on the North American market. 2020 was a tough year for small U.S. businesses, and a free product, Friday CRM, helped cut costs. Since then, demand for the CRM has continued, and the product has been especially well utilized in the first steps in building new businesses.

Here’s what the founder Alex Gurkin said about the service and the reasons behind it:

“I struggled to find CRM software that would be both easy-to-use and accessible for my own small business in the past, so I figured, why not create a better CRM for small businesses? And I did.

“In the beginning I decided to integrate with Google services, and for the better. Many people like Google services as much as I do, so users could see that we were serious about quality. Immediately after the release, I began receiving positive feedback.

“Although the CRM is not affiliated with Google in any way, the web application has been verified by Google. Friday CRM operates within the Google API Services User Data Policy, which allows us to ensure stability of use along with user trust.

“I guarantee a free Friday CRM for all users who join us today. To that end, I’ve invested a lot of time and effort into creating a low-cost environment. From there, all the great feedback and appreciation our users have given has formed the basis for the future improvement of Friday CRM.”

Friday CRM, as free business software, can be used on desktop and mobile devices. In addition to Google’s services, the CRM integrates with telephony and Mailchimp. The software supports multi-user collaboration for teams.

Despite being relatively new, Friday CRM is considered to be a mature product and is standing the test of time. In addition, the developer intends to include AI integrations that would save time for business owners.

Friday CRM has wide-ranging uses for customers across many industries.

For the entrepreneur working independently, it will be a new best friend that synchronizes smartphone contacts with a client base.

For teams, the software provides an excellent opportunity for multi-user collaboration. Everyone involved will be up-to-date with clients.

For non-profit organizations, it’s an opportunity to maintain a list of donors, keep track of donations, and spend money where it matters: on good causes, not more software.

Individual users and business representatives can try out and use the CRM free of charge. Just go to https://fridaycrm.com.
