Lithuania’s Vice Minister of Transport and Communications, Agne Vaiciukevičiūtė, and the Head of Lithuanian ITF Presidency Project, Gintarė Janušaitienė, recently conducted a visit to BANF, a leading company specializing in real-time tire profiling. During their visit, they toured the BANF Research and Development Center and Maru 180, an organization supported by the Asan Nanum Foundation.

The primary objective of the visit was to facilitate discussions on ground mobility innovation and cooperation. Vice Minister Agne Vaiciukevičiūtė demonstrated a keen interest in BANF’s state-of-the-art smart tires designed specifically for logistics trucks and autonomous vehicles. She also provided valuable insights into Lithuania’s current cargo transportation ecosystem, emphasizing the country’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of mobility technology and fostering connectivity innovation. This commitment is particularly noteworthy as Lithuania serves as the host country for this year’s ITF event.

BANF, a specialized company focusing on real-time smart management solutions for self-driving trucks and logistics truck tires, received significant support and business incubation from Maru 180 during its initial stages of establishment. Over time, BANF has emerged as a key player in the logistics mobility sector, proudly representing the Asan Nanum Foundation. The presence of Jeong Nam-yi, CEO of the Asan Nanum Foundation, further enriched the discussions during the meeting, with a particular focus on exploring the Korean startup ecosystem and fostering synergies.

Sunghan(Adam) Yoo, CEO of BANF, expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Lithuania for their interest and support. Yoo acknowledged BANF’s recognition as Korea’s leading representative in the logistics and intelligent tire domain, emphasizing the company’s unwavering commitment to setting new industry standards and driving innovation in the field.

The visit between Lithuania’s Vice Minister of Transport and Communications, the Head of Lithuanian ITF Presidency Project, and key stakeholders from BANF highlights a productive collaboration and exchange of ideas.
